Position: Financial Advisor at IDRC Hybrid Role
Elevate your career as a Financial Advisor with the International Development Research Centre (IDRC) in a hybrid work setting. Drive financial strategy through budget management and advisory services across divisions.

In this key role, you will lead the preparation of the Centre’s annual Program of Work and Budget, focusing on financial modeling, reporting, and strategic advisory. Your expertise will support directors and managers in budget planning, monitor financial performance, and refine processes for continuous improvement. Collaboration with regional controllers ensures effective decision-making and financial governance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare internal and external financial reports accurately

• Lead annual budget processes and quarterly forecasts

• Identify risks and recommend corrective actions

• Monitor and interpret financial performance for stakeholders

• Contribute to strategic operational discussions as a partner

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or business administration

• CPA designation and 8 years relevant experience

• Knowledge of financial management practices

• Experience with financial systems, Workday Adaptive asset

• Bilingual in English and French at an intermediate level
