ING Netherlands is seeking an experienced Finance Advice Manager to strengthen the team supporting the Private Individuals (PI) and Personal Banking (PB) segments. These cover market‑leading products, such as Mortgages, Personal Loans, current accounts and savings, Insurance, and Investments, and contribute materially to ING Group’s publicly disclosed financial goals. Relocation to the Netherlands is required for this role, and ING will support you throughout the process.

This role plays a key part in steering the financial performance of the PI & PB segments by translating strategy into clear financial priorities, providing insights on product economics and pricing, and shaping data‑driven business cases. You will deliver high‑quality financial analysis across the product portfolio, review pricing and performance initiatives, and provide actionable recommendations to improve outcomes. The role requires strong collaboration with Product, Retail, Risk, Finance, Business Partners, and Group Finance, contributing to senior‑level discussions and aligning stakeholders across functions and countries.
You will act as a sparring partner and coach for team members, support onboarding and knowledge sharing, and drive continuous improvements in forecasting, reporting, data quality, and process simplification across the PI & PB domain.
How to Succeed- 8–12 years of relevant experience in Finance, FP&A, Product Control, or Business Partnering (retail banking experience strongly preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to shape pricing/product decisions, portfolio steering, and performance management with data‑driven insight.
- Strong analytical, financial modelling, and storytelling skills; comfortable moving from detail to the big picture.
- Experience coaching, guiding, or functionally leading senior finance professionals and cross‑functional work streams.
- Stakeholder management strength with credibility at senior levels.
- A growth mindset, proactive ownership, and comfort with change.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
