This is a full-time Financial Sales Consultant role based in Singapore, offered on a hybrid arrangement that combines office-based work with some work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Sales Consultant will engage prospective and existing clients to understand their financial goals, assess their protection and wealth needs, and recommend suitable insurance and investment-linked solutions. Daily responsibilities include conducting financial reviews, preparing tailored financial plans, explaining product features and risks clearly, and supporting clients through the application and onboarding process.
The role also involves building and maintaining a portfolio of clients, following up regularly to review plans, and responding to changing life stages and market conditions. The Financial Sales Consultant will work closely with internal teams and channel partners, attend training sessions to stay current on Prudential’s offerings and regulatory requirements, and adhere to all compliance and ethical selling standards.
- Strong foundation in Finance and Investments
, with the ability to explain financial concepts in a clear and accessible manner. - Proficiency in Financial Planning and Retirement Planning
, including assessing client needs and structuring holistic, long-term solutions. - Well-developed Analytical Skills to interpret financial information, evaluate product suitability, and monitor clients’ portfolios.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with a client-centric and ethical advisory mindset.
- Results-driven approach with resilience, self-motivation, and the ability to manage time and priorities in a sales environment.
- Relevant academic background (e.g., Finance, Business, Economics, or related field) and completion of MAS-required certifications or willingness to obtain them.
- Prior experience in financial advisory, banking, insurance, or wealth management is advantageous but not mandatory for highly motivated learners.
