In this impactful role, you'll develop trust with clients by helping them implement their Financial Administration Laws (FAL) and achieve Financial Management System (FMS) certification. You will assess needs for FMS Support Services and construct training plans aimed at enhancing clients' financial capabilities. This position is pivotal in fostering self-determination within First Nations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Establish rapport with clients under Financial Administration Law
• Assess needs for FMS Support Services
• Collaborate with management on training initiatives
• Design remote accounting schedules based on assessments
• Aid clients in attaining FMS certification
Requirements:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
• 5+ years of financial services expertise
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, knowledge of Sage 300 preferred
• Strong grasp of accounting principles
• Awareness of Indigenous cultures and histories
Support First Nations in achieving greater financial governance through expert advice and training.
