Controller; Remote Female Founded DTC Wellness Brand

We’ve been retained on a Strategic Controller search for a female-founded, science-first women’s health brand generating ~$50M in revenue.

This is a fully remote opportunity within a high-growth, subscription-driven DTC business entering a pivotal phase: bringing the finance function fully in-house and preparing for meaningful scale and a potential transaction in the coming years.

This is not a traditional Controller role focused solely on close cycles.

This is a Strategic Controller position designed to build, architect, and scale the accounting infrastructure of a fast-growing consumer brand.

Reporting to the VP of Strategic Finance, you will:

• Build and own the accounting function end-to-end
• Lead audit readiness and strengthen internal controls
• Professionalize month-end close and reporting
• Create contribution margin visibility across DTC and marketplace channels
• Improve inventory and operational accounting processes
• Partner cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and growth teams
• Help position the business for transaction-level financial scrutiny

This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution. You must be comfortable operating in the details while designing scalable systems.

• Experience in DTC, CPG, or subscription-based businesses
• Experience in a $20M–$100M revenue environment
• Strong systems mindset with operational accounting depth
• CPA
