Overview

WHO are we looking for?

CAPTRUST is seeking a Centralized Wealth Planning Senior Specialist who will work directly with our wealth management teams to provide client and prospective client wealth management solutions. This includes support of our centralized financial planning model, onboarding new offices onto our wealth planning platform, executive financial planning, financial planning workflows, and continually developing strategies and solutions to better serve our clients.

Primary responsibilities may include the following, among others:

Responsibilities
  • Direct support of CAPTRUST’s centralized financial planning process and program
  • Participate and lead the development and delivery of financial plans in client meetings
  • Will work closely with financial advisors, client service, and peers on the Wealth Planning team
  • Advanced planning in eMoney will be critical. Data entry will be needed
  • Support business development activities with prospective clients
  • Assist with training our wealth team on eMoney and our financial planning approach
  • Assist with ad hoc projects within required deadlines
  • Contribute to new research and project initiatives
  • May work, when necessary, beyond normal working hours
  • Very minimal travel expected
Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience
  • 8+ years relevant industry experience
  • Proficient in eMoney Advisor or similar financial planning software

    CFP Designation

Desired Qualifications/

Skills:

  • Experience with Financial Planning for high net worth clients including being able to lead a plan presentation
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including being polished, courteous, professional, and patient
  • Good organizational skills such as multi-tasking, adapting priorities, and meeting deadlines
  • Strong background/knowledge with financial planning strategies
  • Technology savvy, proficient with Microsoft Office
