Legal Mortgage Administrator

Position: Legal Mortgage Administrator Hybrid Role
Join Manulife's Real Estate Finance Group as a Legal Mortgage Administrator in a hybrid work environment. Collaborate with teams to manage documentation for mortgage discharges effectively.

In this role, you'll support both U.S. and Canadian clients by overseeing the lifecycle of commercial mortgage transactions. Your responsibilities will include reviewing mortgage files, managing discharge documentation, and maintaining accuracy across security portfolios. Ideal candidates will possess organizational skills, professionalism, and a keen focus on detail while ensuring compliance with legal standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review all legal documentation for commercial mortgages

• Prepare discharge documents for U.S. and Canadian loans

• Monitor pending payoffs actively and coordinate with stakeholders

• Maintain existing PPSA and UCC filings, assisting with billing

• Manage file room tasks, including archiving and checklist completion

Requirements:

• Law Clerk program or Legal Administration diploma

• 3-5 years in commercial/residential real estate roles

• Proficient in e-registry systems and legal terminology

• Strong knowledge of MS Office and document management tools

• Ability to work independently and in team settings
