Opportunity

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you'll play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members while acting as a subject matter expert on pensions. You'll be responsible for guiding colleagues and overseeing actuarial work.

Responsibilities
  • Provide actuarial and data services to the pensions market as part of a collaborative team.
  • Act as an expert in technical actuarial matters related to pensions.
  • Analyze and produce reports based on client needs and business requirements.
  • Process and validate data with precision, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
  • Manage projects effectively, planning and prioritising tasks.
  • Track progress on daily, weekly, and monthly project deliverables.
  • Identify risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
  • Build strong relationships with consulting office teams.
  • Support team members, mentoring junior colleagues and assisting senior stakeholders.
  • Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments.
Qualifications

We're seeking a highly motivated actuarial professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.

Your Profile
  • FIA qualified or making strong exam progress.
  • Proven experience in actuarial valuation work and/or actuarial consultancy.
  • Deep knowledge of pensions, particularly legislative requirements and complexities in European markets.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills in Excel.
  • Up-to-date awareness of industry trends and how they impact clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to analyse complex data.
  • Team‑oriented approach, eager to mentor and support colleagues.
