TheOpportunity
As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you'll play a key role in mentoring and developing junior team members while acting as a subject matter expert on pensions. You'll be responsible for guiding colleagues and overseeing actuarial work.
Responsibilities- Provide actuarial and data services to the pensions market as part of a collaborative team.
- Act as an expert in technical actuarial matters related to pensions.
- Analyze and produce reports based on client needs and business requirements.
- Process and validate data with precision, ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.
- Manage projects effectively, planning and prioritising tasks.
- Track progress on daily, weekly, and monthly project deliverables.
- Identify risks and issues, escalating them when necessary.
- Build strong relationships with consulting office teams.
- Support team members, mentoring junior colleagues and assisting senior stakeholders.
- Stay up to date with regulatory and industry developments.
We're seeking a highly motivated actuarial professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
Your Profile- FIA qualified or making strong exam progress.
- Proven experience in actuarial valuation work and/or actuarial consultancy.
- Deep knowledge of pensions, particularly legislative requirements and complexities in European markets.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills in Excel.
- Up-to-date awareness of industry trends and how they impact clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
