The Position
- Ensures timely and accurate payment of rebate payments for Strategic and Non-Strategic customers for Commercial, Part D and GAP Coverage.
- Reviews and analyzes rebate calculation results and identifies/reports status and exceptions.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: troubleshoot contract/payment issues; assist with internal/external audits; create special reports and provide trend analysis; ensure accurate finance/treasury reporting (monthly treasury reporting, monthly/periodic reconciliations); identify missing claims data and work with customers to obtain it; input/review/validate/process/analyze rebate payments and adjustments ($100K–$200M+), ensuring payment timeliness per contractual terms; prepare/provide contract reports to field and home office; distribute funds and report to field sales and rebate customers;
review/analyze contract terms to ensure validation/rebate systems match for accurate processing; review/recommend contract language to management. - Data Loading/Formatting: format incoming claims data from customers; support data loading and scrubbing prior to validation; resolve data issues with external vendors/customers.
- Systems Maintenance/Administration: ensure data is received and accurately tracked for on-time payment.
- Documentation & Systems: ensure payment/contract documentation is filed/updated; generate/distribute reconciliation reports; assist with enhancements for data validation/rebate systems; create/maintain rebate agreements and update A/P vendor info; ensure Sarbox controls and internal/external service level agreements; maintain membership and formulary linkages in rebate system.
- 0–10% overnight travel required.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; minimum 4 years relevant experience.
- Advanced PC skills; contracting and pricing knowledge; data manipulation skills (via third-party vendor for data scrubbing).
- Experience using financial/statistical tools to analyze contract data.
- Microsoft Access and advanced Excel required; SQL preferred.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong skills with Model N.
- Base compensation range: $83,400–$150,200; eligible for company bonus. Long-term incentive compensation and/or company vehicles (depending on level).
