Job Title: Billing Analyst (Contract - Hybrid)

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Rate: $30/hr

Contract Type: Contract

We are seeking a highly skilled Billing Analyst to join our team on a contract basis. This hybrid role offers a blend of remote work and on-site presence in our Cincinnati office. The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of accounting experience and will focus on ensuring technical accounting compliance, financial and operational internal controls, and process optimization in the billing process for cost type contracts.

• Technical Accounting Compliance:
  Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations specific to cost type contracts, driving accuracy in financial reporting and adherence to industry standards.
• Internal Controls:
  Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial and operational internal controls related to the billing process, ensuring accuracy and preventing errors.
• Process Simplification:
  Identify and drive process improvements to simplify and streamline the billing workflow, enhancing efficiency and reducing cycle times.
• Operational Excellence:
  Promote operational excellence through effective management and execution of billing processes, ensuring high-quality outcomes and timely delivery.
• Financial Reporting:
  Deliver accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis related to billing, providing insights into cost management and contract performance.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  
  Work closely with finance, accounting, and contract management teams to align billing processes with overall financial strategies and objectives.
• Audit Support:
  Assist in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations related to billing processes and compliance.

• Experience:
  
  2+ years of accounting or billing experience with a focus on technical accounting compliance and internal controls.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle (Excel, Word) and experience with accounting software (e.g., Quick Books, SAP).

$25.00 to $30.00 per hour
