The brand is trusted by professional athletes, top instructors, and major sports organizations.

This is a full-time Hybrid role based in Salem, NH, reporting directly to the VP of Operations. The Controller will lead all financial operations, ensuring strong fiscal management, accurate reporting, strategic planning, operational efficiency, human resources oversight, and capital readiness as the company scales.

• Oversee accounting operations:
  Accounts payable/receivable, General ledger, Payroll, Month-end/year-end close, and financial statement preparation.
• Develop and maintain P&L statements, Balance sheets, Cash flow forecasts, and departmental budget reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages.
• Monitor and improve gross margin, contribution margin, and EBITDA performance.

• Support annual budgeting and rolling forecast processes.
• Develop financial models for international expansion, pricing strategy, and workforce planning.
• Analyze key business KPIs, including CAC, ROAS, and channel profitability.

• Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and banking relationships.
• Optimize working capital through inventory planning, payment terms, and cost control.

• Implement controls for COGS accuracy and freight/landed cost allocation.
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Sales, and HR to improve ERP and financial systems.

• Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, audit requirements, and labor laws.
• Manage relationships with CPAs, tax advisors, insurers, banks, and legal counsel.

• Oversee core HR functions:
  Payroll, benefits, onboarding/offboarding, policy development, and performance management.
• Support organizational design, headcount planning, and compensation benchmarking.

• Prepare investor-ready models, forecasts, and data room documentation.
• Assist in due diligence for equity/debt financing and strategic partnerships.
• Evaluate funding options including working capital lines and venture capital.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• CPA, CMA, SHRM, or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in consumer products, footwear, apparel, or eCommerce preferred.
• Familiarity with Net Suite, Quick Books, Shopify, ADP, or similar systems.

• Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $140,000/year.
