Associate, Global Trading Unit – Capital Markets
GIC is looking for an Associate/AVP Trader to join their Global Trading Unit in New York. This role involves executing trades and providing market insights to portfolio managers. The ideal candidate will have trading experience and strong analytical skills, with a focus on equities. You’ll be part of a team that values innovation and collaboration, working in a flexible environment.
What You’ll Do- Work closely with portfolio managers to execute trades across various instruments.
- Provide market intelligence on stocks and macro trends.
- Collaborate with research and tech teams to enhance trading strategies.
- Build strong relationships with counter parties and liquidity providers.
- 2+ years of trading experience, especially in equity derivatives.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Enjoy problem-solving and have a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to program in Python is a plus.
- Passion for data insights and analytics.
