Scott Credit Union is hiring a Floating Financial Service Representative in Edwardsville, IL to help support our members and strengthen our connection with the community. Schedule: Full-time | Monday–Saturday, Saturday rotation as scheduled

Work Location Status: Fully on-site at the Home Office Branch

About the Role

FSRs are one of the primary points of contact for SCU members. They are responsible for creating an exceptional member experience by engaging with members who walk into the branch, over the phone, and through outbound calling efforts. During their conversations, FSRs educate members on the products and services SCU has to offer and resolve any questions or issues that arise.

This position requires the ability to work in multiple branch locations.

What You’ll Do
  • Identify, educate, present, and cross‑sell SCU products and services to new and existing members in accordance with SCU’s member engagement model.
  • Meet individual sales and operational goals and assist the branch team in achieving branch goals.
  • Maintain cross‑functional capabilities. Process financial transitions for members, including opening and closing of accounts; input, review, negotiate, and close member loan application requests; process deposits and withdrawals from accounts; perform teller duties as needed.
  • Open and close the teller terminal daily, account for cash assigned, received, and disbursed, accurately balance to the teller terminal close report, and remit daily work to the appropriate supervisor for disposition.
  • Perform required OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) screens as outlined in the Non-Member Verafin Processing policy and report any positive matches to the BSA Group. Comply with BSA requirements of completing CTR and SAR.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with members. Provide prompt, professional, helpful, knowledgeable, and courteous member service. Investigate member concerns, research and recommend a resolution, and ensure we meet expectations with member service satisfaction results.
What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of customer service experience
  • Personal computer experience, including Microsoft Office products
