The budgeted hourly rate for this position ranges from $30.75 to $31.99. Full salary range is $30.75 to $50.45 per hour, based on qualifications and experience.

Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time or a similar schedule aligned with core business hours.
Full Benefits eligibility. Hybrid work arrangement is available, requiring onsite presence for leadership and staff meetings, training sessions, and other scheduled activities. The position is eligible for remote work within California; candidate must reside in California or be willing to relocate.
Brief Summary ofJob Duties
Under general supervision, administer student and study center finances for assigned programs, including financial analysis, wire transfers, expense processing, and account management. Reconcile monthly transactions with the general ledger and maintain compliance with UC policies and external regulations.
Job Functions and Percentages of Time- 50% Student Account Management – oversee financial activities for UCEAP student accounts, including program fees, financial aid, billing, and collections; provide customer service, generate financial aid journals, resolve fee adjustments, analyze ledger reconciliations, create semi‑annual budgets, and apply internal controls.
- 50% Study Center Responsibilities – ensure compliance with UCEAP and UC financial policies, prepare and review business transactions, analyze host institution payments, audit and reconcile overseas expenditures, prepare quarterly budget analyses, manage wire transfers, and assist fiscal year closing.
- AA, BA, or BS degree in related field and minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounts payable/receivable, billing and collections, or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Excel.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, service orientation, attention to detail, multitasking, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of financial processes, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
- Knowledge and understanding of foreign currency transactions and conversions.
- Moderate understanding of federal and state financial aid.
- Hybrid/remote work arrangement within California; on‑site presence required for meetings, delegation visits, and training sessions. Candidate must reside in California or be willing to relocate.

- Satisfactory criminal history background check is required.
