Sr. Financial Analyst​/Financial Specialist; Modeling

Position Overview

This role provides financial analysis support to both Financial Planning & Analysis and Corporate Development ponsibilities include project‑based and daily/monthly activities, supplying accurate, timely results.

• Provide analytical support to corporate financial functions, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.
• Compile and analyze financial information to meet management reporting requirements, including reconciliations and variance explanations.
• Develop presentations and materials for key stakeholders such as executive management, Board, rating agencies, and investment community.
• Contribute to special projects and ad hoc financial analysis requested by various levels of management.
• Develop, streamline, and maintain flexible financial models.
• Maintain strong relationships with personnel across PPL’s business lines and corporate support groups.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports as requested by management.
• Comply with all policies and standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of financial analysis experience (or 7+ for Specialist).
• Strong analytical, research, and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication, interpersonal skills.
• Strong attention to detail and time‑management skills.
• Experience with Excel (intermediate or higher).

Preferred

• Master’s degree, CFA or CPA.
• Understanding of the power/utility sector.
• Experience with Utilities International financial software.
• Self‑starter with initiative and urgency.
• Capacity to analyze while understanding big‑picture implications.

Hybrid: on‑site in Allentown, PA 3 days a week. Remote work possible with on‑site requirements.
