The Cost Accounting Specialist participates in the consolidation, preparation and analysis of Agropur Canada's financial results. The role supports the development of a comprehensive financial view of Canadian operations and contributes to continuous process improvement initiatives and the implementation of best practices in accounting and financial analysis. Salary range: $84,600 to $105,800 (Salary will be determined based on skills, education, training & experience related to the position.)

- Actively participate in period‑end close activities, including the preparation, support, and review of periodic, quarterly, and annual financial analyses for a category and department within Agropur Canada.
- Contribute to the development of analytical tools involving multiple databases, automation, optimization, and harmonization of reports.
- Produce various financial reports and performance indicators on a periodic, quarterly, and annual basis for senior management and the Board of Directors.
- Support Category Directors in explaining financial results and responding to ad hoc questions.
- Participate in the annual budgeting and forecasting process.
- Contribute to various special projects and prepare ad hoc analyses for management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in a similar role required.
- Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written, required.
- Professional accounting designation (CPA) obtained.
- Strong proficiency with computer tools, including advanced Excel.
- Knowledge of the manufacturing sector (an asset).
