As the Manager, FP&A
- North America E-commerce, you are responsible for short and long range financial planning and reporting, summarizing business performance through management reporting on monthly and quarterly results for the NAM ecom business. You will partner closely with the North America Commercial team, the North America FP&A team as well as the broader global finance team within Arc’teryx to provide senior management with the analysis to understand business trends, make investment decisions and track and monitor performance to enable both the Ecom and broader North America commercial teams to deliver on its goals.
This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid remote work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
Meet Your Future Team:
The Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc’teryx is responsible for providing leadership with the information they need to review past performance, understand business trends, and anticipate future profitability and financial position. Through review of historic financials, variance analysis and KPI tracking, FP&A advises leadership on key investment decisions and performance improvement.

Being a business partner to the North America eCommerce team, responsible for preparation of all aspects of P&L reporting (sales, margin and SG&A)Providing strategic insights to North America eCommerce team to support opportunity to drive profitability and margin improvement.Building and maintaining strong business partnership with senior leadership across Ecom, Digital Marketing, Supply ChainWorking in close partnership with the Ecom Sales Planning team, articulating targets and understanding key sales driving metrics (traffic, conversion, AOV, AUR)Partnering with the Digital Marketing team to support investment proposals, tracking of monthly digital marketing spend and ROASCollaborating with ecommerce team and technology team to prepare and evaluate business cases related to future web/app capabilitiesWhat you could be working on in the future:
Building out the FP&A ecom team to support with the growth of the North America BusinessBroaden skill set to cover retail and/or wholesale channelsDeveloping and implementing system optimizations for financial planning and reporting within North AmericaAre you our next Manager, FP&A, NAM Ecom?
You have 5+ years proven experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis, or an equivalent role ideally with experience in a digital and omni channel environmentYou have a bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent. A professional accounting designation is preferredYou have a passion for enabling teams to plan better, work with agility and communicate clearly and conciselyYou have a strategic partnership mindset and enjoy acting as a thought partner to both finance and commercial leadersYou have advanced analytical skills with a strong aptitude for MS Excel and data analysis tools. Experience with SAP FICO, Oracle, and Power BI is an assetYou are highly proficient in accounting systems and business intelligence (BI) toolsYou can prioritize and manage multiple tasks within tight deadlinesYou have excellent written and verbal communication skills and can collaborate with individuals across departments, organizations, and countriesYou can coordinate and lead projects to completionYou inspire breakthrough thinking and continuous improvementYou seek the best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitmentYour passion for your work is paralleled by your passion for getting outside and living itCompensation:
The salary range for this role is CAD $108,000 - CAD $142,000

This range reflects market alignment and the scope of the role. Individual pay is determined by your skills, experience, and level of responsibility.
