Financial Controller - Project Services Firm

Step into an influential role as a CPA-designated Financial Controller for a leading project-based services organization in Saskatchewan. This hybrid position allows for 2-3 days per week remote work from Regina.

In this role, you will take full ownership of financial operations, driving the implementation of robust internal controls and formalizing accounting policies. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage full-cycle accounting, including payroll and treasury functions

• Deliver timely financial statements through a meticulous month-end close

• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations and corporate income tax processes

• Implement job-costing and project profitability reporting structures

• Design internal control frameworks and develop SOPs for financial processes

Requirements:

• CPA designation in good standing is mandatory

• 7-10 years of accounting and finance experience required

• 5+ years in a Controller-level role preferred

• Expertise in revenue recognition and work-in-progress accounting

• Strong communication skills for stakeholder collaboration
