Financial Analyst, AI Evaluation, Investment Banking
We are hiring Retail Investment Research Specialists on behalf of an AI Lab building advanced financial intelligence systems for individual investors. This role is designed for self-directed market participants who actively engage with equities, form investment views, and seek to sharpen their decision‑making edge. You may approach markets with varying levels of structure—ranging from conviction‑driven idea generation to more reactive portfolio monitoring—but you share a common trait: a strong personal interest in understanding market movements, evaluating opportunities, and improving investment outcomes.
In this role, you will help train and evaluate AI systems that aim to replicate and enhance how real‑world investors think, research, and act.
- Research stocks, sectors, and market trends using publicly available and professional tools (e.g., screeners, filings, Trading View, financial news)
- Form and articulate investment theses, including entry/exit reasoning, catalysts, and risks
- Analyse price movements and market events, distinguishing between noise and meaningful signals
- Evaluate AI-generated insights, summaries, and recommendations for clarity, usefulness, and accuracy
- Provide feedback on whether outputs improve decision confidence or create confusion
- Simulate real‑world investor workflows, including idea discovery, validation, and portfolio monitoring
- Identify gaps in reasoning, missing context, or misleading interpretations in AI outputs
- Active participation in public markets (equities, ETFs, or similar instruments)
- Demonstrated habit of researching and tracking investments independently
- Ability to explain why a stock is moving or whether a move matters
- Strong intuition for market sentiment, narratives, and behavioral patterns
- Comfort using platforms such as Reddit, X (Twitter), Google Finance, Yahoo Finance, Trading View, or similar
- Clear written communication skills and ability to express investment reasoning
- Individually developed approach to investing—whether structured or evolving
- Investors who seek deeper insight and faster understanding, rather than surface‑level summaries
- Strong curiosity about markets and a desire to continuously improve decision-making
- Ability to balance conviction with openness to new information
- Experience using advanced tools (e.g., Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar)
- Familiarity with technical analysis, financial statements, or macroeconomic indicators
- Prior experience documenting trades, theses, or investment outcomes
- Contribute to building AI systems that directly impact how millions of individuals invest
- Flexible, remote engagement (typically 10–20 hours per week)
- Work at the intersection of real‑world investing behavior and cutting‑edge AI
- Opportunity to shape tools that make investment research faster, clearer, and more actionable
