Senior Financial Analyst -NO REMOTE - Property​/Casualty Insurance

Compensation $80-$150K depending on depth of insurance and investor reporting experience.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting packages for executive leadership
• Perform detailed variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior-period results
• Analyze financial performance, profitability trends, and key operating metrics
• Develop recommendations to improve financial performance and business outcomes

• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, dashboards, and KPI reporting
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
• Prepare business cases, ROI analyses, and strategic financial evaluations
• Assist with capital allocation and growth initiatives
• Deliver ad hoc financial analyses for senior leadership and department heads

• Support investor reporting initiatives and executive presentations
• Assist with quarterly and annual public company reporting requirements
• Gain exposure to SEC reporting processes, including 10-Q and 10-K filings
• Support earnings preparation and related financial analyses
• Partner with leadership on key financial messaging and performance reporting

• Partner with Accounting, Actuarial, Claims, Underwriting, and Operations teams
• Analyze business drivers impacting profitability and financial performance
• Support GAAP and Statutory (STAT) reporting processes
• Assist with regulatory reporting and audit requests
• Participate in process improvement, automation, and reporting enhancement initiatives Qualifications Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related discipline
  • 2–5 years of experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A, Corporate Finance, Accounting, or Reporting
  • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
  • Advanced Excel capabilities including modeling, forecasting, and data analysis
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
  Strongly Preferred
  • Property & Casualty insurance industry experience
  • Experience with financial statement analysis and reporting
  • Exposure to GAAP financial reporting
  • Understanding of insurance company financial metrics and performance indicators
