Overview
The Tax Senior Analyst supports the corporate tax department in tax return compliance, income tax provision, financial reporting, accounting processes, and overall tax planning. The role reports to the AVP of Corporate Tax, collaborates with internal teams and external service providers, and may travel occasionally for training or meetings.
Responsibilities- Prepare quarterly and annual income tax provision calculations in accordance with ASC 740 and related SEC disclosures.
- Prepare federal, state, and local income tax filings and supporting calculations, including estimates and extensions, and ensure timely filing.
- Prepare other indirect tax filings, including personal property tax, franchise tax, and sales and use tax.
- Research and respond to tax notices from federal, state, and local tax authorities.
- Collaborate with the payroll function to ensure proper compliance with payroll tax reporting obligations.
- Maintain current knowledge of tax laws, financial and accounting guidance, and new tax legislation that impacts the company.
- Ensure tax files and documentation are properly maintained for compliance under SOX 404 regulations.
- Conduct tax research and prepare technical memoranda on certain tax matters.
- Support the company with M&A tax diligence, strategy, and integration efforts.
- Support the research and development tax credit study and analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (required).
- Master’s degree in Taxation (highly preferred).
- Active CPA license (required).
- Knowledge of corporate accounting.
- 2+ years of tax experience in public accounting and/or a corporate tax department.
- Hands‑on knowledge of tax research tools such as CCH (recommended).
- Familiarity with Corptax, Bloomberg tax depreciation software, and Net Suite (recommended).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot, and Outlook (required).
- Self‑starting and motivated, able to work without supervision and manage multiple projects.
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with the broader team and external advisors.
This is a remote position. In‑person onboarding training will be conducted at headquarters once per quarter;

$79,500.00 to $ per year.
