Genmab is expanding the Finance organization to support growth and the implementation of new enhanced systems and processes globally. We are looking for a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) to support the financial planning of our expanding Corporate and Enabling functions for the global business.
In this role you will be responsible for the global financial planning, analysis, and controlling of several areas including Finance, Legal, Compliance, Facilities, Real Estate, Capital Projects, and others. You will also lead the corporate FP&A monthly close activities, including reviews of prepaid expenses, monthly accrual support, and monthly reporting.
The Senior Manager, FP&A will work closely with the business to provide real‑time financial support and analysis and be a trusted business partner, assisting with the generation of business insights and facilitating the budgeting and forecasting processes.
You will be part of the Global Finance team reporting to the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis and collaborate with colleagues across the organization to support the development of new and innovative medicines for cancer patients.
Work arrangementThis role offers flexibility to work away from the office for 20%–40% of a typical schedule. Employees may use this work schedule in increments of single days or multiple consecutive days, provided it does not exceed 40% within a 60‑day period, and is approved by the hiring manager.
Responsibilities- Work closely with the global finance team and business to prepare annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly reporting, and ad‑hoc analysis/reporting.
- Collaborate and build relationships with colleagues globally across the Genmab Group.
- Financial management and controlling of global enabling functions, including preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports and analysis.
- Develop an in‑depth understanding of key business drivers of the global enabling functions as the finance leader of this area.
- Demonstrate continuous effort to improve financial procedures by leveraging newly acquired technology including Adaptive Insights, Planisware, and Workday.
- Other responsibilities and projects assigned by the Associate Director of Financial Planning & Analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree required in Finance and/or Accounting;
Master’s Degree preferred. - 8+ years of progressive experience in finance.
- Experience navigating an international environment among different cultures.
- Experience working in various Finance systems and advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including presentation skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to work independently with multiple tasks and support the business with your expertise.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment where projects define priorities.
- Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, planning, and execution skills.
- Motivation to work as part of a global team in a growing organization and collaborate with various stakeholders.
- Strong business acumen, including industry‑specific knowledge of the enterprise and its business units.

SalaryFor US based candidates the proposed salary band is $ – $. The actual offer will consider skills, qualifications, experience and location. Additional compensation may include discretionary bonuses and long‑term incentives.
