Entry Level, Required Travel: 0 - 10%). Located in Fair Lakes, VA. Ideal candidate has a general understanding of DoD/government contracting environment and strong attention to detail. This role supports a hybrid work schedule with a blend of on-site and remote work.
- Contribute to the preparation of fully compliant cost models.
- Coordinate pricing review meetings.
- Read and understand RFPs and prepare clarifying questions related to pricing and price submission.
- Participate in cost model peer-review process and ensure quality control prior to submission to the government.
- Assist Contracts team with Cost Narrative.
- Develop subcontractor pricing requirements and data calls in coordination with subcontracts team.
- Perform analysis, modeling, and what-if analysis for management decision making.
- Proactively engage on assigned bids and raise issues early for mitigation and disposition.
- Maintain complete and orderly files to ensure an audit-ready posture.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 0-2 years’ experience in pricing, accounting, business, or finance;
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Operations, Business Administration or related field; alternatively a High School Diploma with 4 years relevant experience. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel; basic proficiency in MS Word and PowerPoint.
- Attentive to detail and highly organized.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with multiple deadlines.
- Government contracting related experience, preferably in a pricing or pricing related role.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
- Experience presenting financial data to senior‑level leadership.
Salary range: $54,418.00 – $70,000.00.
