Accounting / Compliance Associate to support the firm’s financial and regulatory operations. In this role, you will assist with the administration of accounting, compliance, and corporate governance functions that are essential to the accurate and ethical operation of the firm. The ideal candidate will bring strong attention to detail, a high degree of integrity, and a collaborative approach to partnering with Accounting and Compliance leadership.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- Minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in accounting, compliance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to manage administrative functions effectively.
- Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
- Exceptional attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment in handling confidential information.
- Support accounting processes including accounts payable, client billing, payroll, and employee reimbursements.
- Prepare, maintain, and provide support for financial and operational reports, such as Assets Under Management (AUM) summaries.
- Assist with treasury functions, journal entries, and the preparation and retention of related accounting documentation.
- Support compliance and internal controls programs, including policies and testing, to ensure regulatory and risk management standards are met.
- Assist with corporate filings, governance documentation, and responses to regulatory examinations or inquiries.
- Maintain awareness of evolving compliance requirements and help communicate relevant updates across the firm.
- Provide administrative support for business insurance renewals and other cross-functional projects and initiatives.

- This position is exempt and is paid according to the laws of the State of Illinois. We are required to provide a reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this role. The full base salary pay range is $40,000 to $70,000 per year. This range considers the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
It is not typical for an individual to be offered a base salary at or near the top of the range for a position. Base salary offers are determined based on final candidate qualifications and experience. - Your total compensation package includes a significant incentive component which allows you to directly influence your earnings based on performance.
