Lead Business Consultant, ABOR

As a Lead Business Consultant specializing in ABOR (Accounting Book of Records), your participation will be instrumental in advancing our clients’ projects and expanding our market unit.

You will normally be working full‑time on implementation projects that require your expertise in ABOR. You will be responsible for all aspects of the project stream, acting as a sparring partner for clients and effectively monitoring, coordinating, and escalating issues as needed.

• Leading major parts of Sim Corp Dimension® implementation projects, understanding customer requirements and accounting processes at banks, asset managers, and insurers, and outlining optimal solutions.
• Maintaining close cooperation with the project manager and playing a key role in delivering projects to success.
• Gaining an understanding of Sim Corp One and utilizing it for project delivery.
• Acting as the key contact for customers regarding Sim Corp Dimension®.
• Instructing and mentoring less experienced colleagues on the job.
• Contributing to the improvement of best practices for implementation processes and promoting topics across projects.
• Actively participating in knowledge exchange with colleagues on an international level.

• Previous experience as an Analyst or Implementation Consultant for asset managers, asset owners, banks, or consulting firms.
• Excellent know‑how in at least two of the following areas:
• Experience in one or more of the following fields:
• Asset Management – Back Office – or Financial Reporting
• Consulting or Professional Services within the Asset Management sector
• An implementation role for a software vendor specializing in Asset Management software
• 5‑10 years of experience working hands‑on with investment and/or fund accounting functions and enterprise applications that enable them.
• Experience with multiple enterprise implementations involving ABOR functions on the buy side, and hands‑on experience with applications similar to Dimension.
• Degree in Business discipline (Accounting, Finance, or Economics) or Mathematics/Applied Sciences preferred.
• Self‑starter with a can‑do mindset.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks and deliver results on time.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English – both oral and written.
• Basic understanding of financial industry/products and related accounting.
• Knowledge/experience with accounting for the insurance industry is a plus.
• CPA, CA, or CFA qualification is a plus.
• Hands‑on experience with Sim Corp Dimension is a plus.
• Ability to travel to client sites.

Employees are expected to work from the office two days each week while remote work is allowed on other days.

For Toronto only:
The salary range for this position is $115,040 – $165,040 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off, and Group RRSP/TFSA.

For New York City only:
The salary range for this position is $133,200 – $199,800 USD. Employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Total compensation may vary by role, location, department, and individual performance.
