About

The Role

We are currently seeking a PVP, of Consumer Lending to coordinate and administer consumer and business lending within the credit union. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with lending policies, procedures, and applicable rules and regulations; managing loan origination for direct and indirect loans; overseeing the Contractor Financing Program; preparing reports; and maintaining complaint management. The role requires developing and maintaining consumer lending policies, ensuring department activities comply with state and federal regulations, and maintaining extensive industry knowledge.

Requirements
  • Manage consumer lending activities to adhere to policy, procedures, rules, and regulations; monitor product development, pricing, and terms to keep the credit union competitive.
  • Develop streamlined origination, processing, and funding methods; supervise management staff to facilitate communication between branch, operational staff, third‑party vendors, and indirect partners.
  • Create and monitor pipeline and decision reports from front‑end application to disbursement using LOS; ensure data accuracy and proper reporting.
  • Coordinate consumer lending audits, ensuring requested documents and reports are accurate and complete, and address all exceptions.
  • Participate in establishing the annual budget; monitor performance to budget; set annual sales goals for lending programs with the SVP of Lending and initiate action to achieve goals.
  • Collaborate with in‑house and external IT to maintain 100% system accuracy; review reports from outside vendors and maintain their accuracy; assist in implementation and maintenance of front‑end LOS systems.
  • Ensure timely completion of all mandatory training requirements, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti‑Money Laundering, OFAC, Cybersecurity, Diversity & Anti‑Harassment, and Fair Lending, as directed by management or the SVP of Risk Management.
Qualifications
  • Ten to fifteen years of similar or related experience.
  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent formal certifications recognized in the industry (e.g., IT certifications in lieu of a degree).
  • Advanced conflict resolution, presentation delivery, and multi‑department issue resolution skills; ability to motivate or influence others, with high levels of diplomacy and interpersonal skills.

Pay: $133,000 – $171,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
