Senior Escrow Officer
Senior Escrow Officer responsible for closing Pennsylvania and some national residential purchase transactions. Acts as a neutral third-party between sellers, buyers, lenders, and realtors throughout the closing process. Coordinates with all parties to ensure conditions of closing are met. Specific duties include collecting documentation, clearing title, preparing settlement statements/closing disclosures, drafting closing documents, and disbursing funds, all with the assistance of a robust and efficient centralized processing team.
PrimaryDuties and Responsibilities
- Determine closing requirements by studying and clarifying buyer, seller, and lender instructions.
- Review title evidence to determine curative requirements.
- Resolve title defects, satisfying existing liens and encumbrances against property or principals.
- Prepare transaction documents by completing forms and statements.
- Complete closing transaction by assembling documents, review with parties, explain provisions and procedures, answer questions, check documents for completeness and accuracy, and obtain signatures.
- Close escrow by preparing final settlement statements, recording and filing documents, and balancing and disbursing funds.
- Review new and current employee training and performance and counsel/reward as appropriate.
- Perform any additional tasks as assigned.
- 3-5 years experience closing residential purchase transactions in the state of hire.
- Deep knowledge of state specific customs, expectations, process and regulations.

- Res Ware experience is a bonus.
- Required:
HS Diploma/GED - Preferred:
Bachelor’s Degree - Other
Certifications:
Must meet state licensing requirements, if applicable.
- Competitive Compensation: anticipated base hourly rate from $27.00 to $39.00 based on skills and experience. Eligible for an annual incentive program.
- Paid Time Off: 20 days of paid time off annually, prorated in the hiring year. Additionally eligible for 9 paid holidays + 2 floating holidays. Parental leave offered.
