This role aligns with IW's growth trajectory. The full-time role of US Assistant Controller is a hybrid position based in Stamford, CT. The US Assistant Controller will be responsible for overseeing three divisional assistant controllers and their respective teams, leading accounting operations, financial controls, reporting accuracy, and acquisition integration. This individual will be responsible for streamlining and scaling accounting processes to support the company's rapid expansion.
Some tasks may be performed remotely, allowing for work-from-home flexibility.
- Oversee three divisional assistant controllers and their respective teams.
- Lead accounting operations, financial controls, and reporting accuracy.
- Manage acquisition integration and ensure scalable, efficient accounting processes to support rapid expansion.
- Drive process improvements and system upgrades to support growth; ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments and leadership to enable strategic decision-making.
- CPA and public accounting foundation required.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience, including experience managing teams and leading accounting operations in a product-centric business.
- Demonstrated success operating in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Skilled at identifying problems and implementing scalable solutions in a cross-functional setting.
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial sectors is strongly preferred, as is a consulting background.
- Hands-on, detail-oriented, and low-ego leadership style.
- Experience working with ERP systems and large-scale accounting platforms.
