Data Services Coordinator
Kelly Services is currently seeking a Data Services Coordinator for one of our top clients in Raritan, NJ. The role supports the finance function by coordinating day‑to‑day financial activities, maintaining accurate records, and partnering with internal teams to ensure timely and organized execution of finance processes. The role will also support the management of Senior Director calendaring.
Core Responsibilities- Financial Coordination: coordinate recurring finance activities, including budget tracking, purchase order support, invoice follow‑up, accrual coordination, and monthly close preparation.
- Budget & Expense Tracking: monitor spend against approved budgets, identify discrepancies, and help ensure timely resolution with finance partners and business owners.
- Process Administration: maintain finance trackers, calendars, templates, documentation, and status logs to keep financial workflows organized and on schedule.
- Stakeholder Follow‑Up: partner with finance, procurement, operations, and business teams to collect inputs, clarify requirements, and drive completion of action items.
- Compliance & Controls Support: help ensure finance activities follow internal policies, approval processes, documentation standards, and audit‑ready recordkeeping practices.
Skills & Qualifications
- Finance Operations Knowledge: familiarity with budgeting, forecasting support, invoice processing, purchase orders, accruals, and monthly close activities.
- Technical
Skills:
strong proficiency in eMarketplace, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and finance or procurement systems; experience with dashboards or reporting tools is a plus. - Organizational
Skills:
ability to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate trackers, meet deadlines, and follow through on open items. - Communication: clear written and verbal communication skills with ability to coordinate across finance, procurement, operations, and business stakeholders. Ability to manage Senior Director calendaring as key contact or back‑up support.
- Experience:
prior experience in finance coordination, business operations, accounting support, procurement support, or administrative roles.
