Future Challenges

In the context of this internship, several development axes are considered to strengthen the efficiency of the ALM processes and support the strategic reflections of the Investment Direction:

Contribute to the monitoring and projection of revenues: participate in the analysis of financial revenues and their prospective modeling, relying on the tools developed by the Investment Direction, in order to optimize the visibility on future flows.

Improve existing tools and their documentation: identify the levers for improving the ALM tools used on a daily basis (automation, ergonomics, reliability), while structuring their documentation to facilitate their appropriation and their sustainability.

Participate in the reflection on coverage strategies: analyze the mechanisms for covering financial risks (rates, actions, etc.), contributing to the impact studies and the evaluation of strategic options.

Contribute to the monitoring of active/passive interest rate risks: follow key indicators such as duration and convexity, and participate in the analysis of the gaps between assets and liabilities, in a logic of mastering the interest rate risk and optimizing the balance sheet.

Work Environment

You will join the Investment Direction of Abeille Assurances, whose main missions are: the definition of strategic allocations, the implementation of tactical allocation, the selection of investment supports for euro funds or UC as well as the development of Responsible Investment.

Attached to the Investment department as a Junior Structured Analyst, you will be particularly working with the people in charge of structured products.

Are You The Right Person For This Challenge?

M2 in finance / financial engineering / actuarial science,
Advanced mastery of programming and databases (Python/SQL), collaborative work and project management (Git/Git Hub),
A marked interest in economics, applied mathematics, finance and investments
Being organized, showing great rigor, having an analytical mind and a natural curiosity in the face of new situations, a capacity to write in an articulate, synthetic and clear way for different types of interlocutors
