Responsibilities
- Financial Oversight & Cost Control: manage and monitor manufacturing costs, product costing, cost‑center performance, and drive cost‑efficiency through variance analysis.
- Performance Reporting & Analysis: lead actual and forecasting processes, prepare, analyze, and report KPIs, and highlight risks and opportunities for timely decision‑making.
- Governance, Compliance & Process Optimization: maintain robust controls, ensure audit readiness, and support compliance across the plant.
- Continuous Improvement: harmonise and improve financial processes, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and leverage digital tools.
- Strategic Business Partnership & Cost Management: act as a trusted finance partner to plant management, support the roadmap agenda, and shape business strategies.
- Cost Optimization Culture: empower stakeholders with proactive cost ownership, identify significant cost‑reduction opportunities, and contribute to productivity and financial targets.
- Technical expertise in financial planning and performance management.
- Business acumen in consumer packaged goods, supply‑chain dynamics, and large corporate environments.
- Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally.
- Growth & digital mindset with an ability to identify and leverage technology to improve efficiency.
- Integrity and sound judgement aligned with company values and external regulations.
- Proven ability to act as a strong financial business partner with manufacturing acumen.
- Financial expertise and a track record of cost‑optimization initiatives.
- Ownership and collaboration across finance and manufacturing teams.
- Positive, energetic attitude with a willingness to grow with the team.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, economics, or related field (required); MBA, MSc, or professional certification (CMA, CPA, ACCA) preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years progressive experience in finance/controlling, ideally in manufacturing or supply‑chain environments.
- Proven track record in plant/site controlling, cost management, or financial business partnering.
- Experience managing or developing a team.
- Proficiency in SAP, advanced Excel, and financial planning tools.
- Fluency in English and German at full professional proficiency.

Bern, Switzerland. - Work Arrangement:
On‑site at the Bern manufacturing plant with occasional remote work. - Travel:
