As (Senior) Internal Auditor you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of business processes, risk management procedures, and compliance with company policies and regulations. This position is responsible for conducting internal audits, reviews, and investigations in various company areas.

The following tasks are primarily your responsibility:

• Support the development of the annual audit plan to ensure key risk areas are covered
• Conduct internal audits and reviews independently in accordance with audit objectives and methods
• Identify and assess risks and weaknesses in business processes and internal controls
• Prepare audit reports that clearly present the results, recommendations, and action plans
• Ensure the company complies with all relevant laws and regulations and support the implementation of compliance measures
• Identify opportunities for improvement in business processes and work on developing recommendations to increase efficiency and minimize risk
• Communicate with employees at all levels of the company to convey the importance of internal controls and risk management

• You have a successful university degree (Bachelor or Master) in economics or engineering, ideally with specific expertise in finance and accounting
• You have several years of professional experience in internal auditing, internal review, compliance, or risk management in industrial companies or in audit firms. You also have experience in central measure tracking and can show initial experience in handling data analyses
• You are enthusiastic about your work and enjoy teamwork, especially in a dynamic, agile, and flat working and project environment that is characterized by its diverse challenges
• You have an independent and proactive working style and a good understanding of business processes with the necessary flexibility, curiosity, and ability to quickly engage with different and new situations
• A confident use of MS Office, experience in SAP, as well as fluent German and English language skills and a willingness to travel for audits both domestically and abroad complete your profile
