Senior Financial Analyst

Essential Functions

  • Conduct detailed financial analysis to identify trends and variances and make recommendations to improve company's fiscal efficiency based on interpretation of financial information.
  • Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management.
  • Compare departmental expenses to budget and provides advice and analysis at the department level to increase the efficiency of the company's spending.
  • Assist with projecting future financial needs and collaborates with management to prepare long-term financial plans and other budget and financial reports.
  • Utilizes systems and tools for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis.
  • Assists in the creation and further development of a budget preparation manual, budget policies and procedures manual, and other documents as needed.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Act as a Supervisor for Accounting employees when and where requested.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required.
Qualifications

Education:

Bachelors or better in Accounting or related field.

Experience:

7 years minimum relatable experience.

Licenses &

Certifications:

Certified Public Accountant.
