Actuary, Risk Manager/Analyst
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain actuarial models for pricing, reserving, and forecasting.
- Support the development of new products, pricing strategies, and profitability.
- Perform scenario testing and analysis of risk and opportunities.
- Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings to key stakeholders.
- Monitor experience studies and adjust assumptions based on emerging trends.
- Collaborate with finance, underwriting, and product teams to support business decisions.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
- Hybrid work schedule.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics or related field (with minimum GPA of 3.2) and 5 years of experience in any progressively responsible actuarial role in the healthcare domain.
- Must have experience with: working with big data and querying data using SQL code; analyzing data using R; and advanced Excel experience.
- Must be a Fellow of the Society of Actuaries.
Salary Range: $191,942-$214,400.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 142, USD/year, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
