Job Details

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Permanent Audit Senior to join our team in the Accounting and Finance industry. This is a 100% remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from anywhere while contributing to a dynamic, fast-paced team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in our organization, providing high-quality audit and assurance services to our diverse portfolio of clients.

This role provides an excellent opportunity for a seasoned professional to apply their expertise in financial statement preparation and review, NAV calculations, fund structures, and more. Responsibilities:

• Conducting financial statement audits, reviews, and compilations
• Performing NAV calculations and understanding fund structures
• Working with a variety of financial instruments and applying fair value accounting principles
• Assessing and testing internal controls and risk, with an emphasis on SOX compliance
• Applying knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, particularly in an offshore context
• Preparing and reviewing audit documentation, including work papers and tickmarks
• Liaising with clients, providing clear and concise communication and building strong relationships
• Staying current with industry trends and changes in accounting standards
• Participating in team meetings and contributing to the development of audit methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting and Finance industry
• Proven experience with financial statement preparation and review, NAV calculations, and understanding of fund structures
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments and fair value accounting
• Experience with Level I, II, III investments
• Excellent client-facing communication skills
• Experience with risk assessment and internal controls testing, with SOX exposure being a plus
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS, with particular relevance to offshore contexts
• Proficiency in audit documentation, including work papers and tickmarks
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote setting
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required; a CPA or similar certification is a plus
• Experience with hedge funds, private equity, or investment funds is highly desirable.
