This position is accountable for development and execution of market strategies to grow business in the personal markets. This position will be a leader in a team of subject matter experts with a focus on training and education; marketing and client segmentation; planning process and tools; and integrated solutions. This position will require heavy integration and collaboration with key stakeholders in Planning and Sales, all product lines, Career Distribution, the Field, Marketing, Corporate Planning, Communications, Enterprise Solutions, Law, Actuarial and Compliance.

- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, accounting or actuarial science, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; MBA preferred.
- Eight years progressively responsible work experiences focusing on issue and project leadership and financial and data analysis. Three to five years experience working with NM field force preferred.
- Proven excellence in problem solving, translating complex technical information, quantitative analysis and analytical working techniques including holistic financial analyses and modeling
- Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to build rapport and gain acceptance at all levels in the Home Office and field. Ability to effectively influence outcomes and negotiate with key business partners.
- Proven ability to establish and maintain cooperative and supportive relationships with the field force.
- In-depth knowledge of field operations, including NM’s field compensation and contracts.
