• Analyze risks, claims history, markets, and competitors to ensure risk-appropriate pricing.
• Manage the portfolio with a focus on sustainable profitability, including claims ratio analysis and optimization suggestions.
• Develop and design insurance products, including customer documents like insurance terms, IPID, POG documentation, etc.
• Create technical offers, prepare them in a structured manner, and actively participate in commercial negotiations.
• Contribute to tenders, business plans, and offer processes at the corporate level.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from sales, legal, finance, operations, and the international network.
• Ensure compliance with AXA standards (e.g., audit capability, governance, reporting).
• Participate in strategic projects, such as developing new products or processes in the international AXA Partners network.

• A completed degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, insurance, or a related field.
• Several years of experience in underwriting, ideally in travel, property, liability, or assistance sectors.
• Strong technical understanding of insurance products, pricing, risk assessment, and documentation.
• Excellent analytical skills, sense of responsibility, and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration.
• Proficient in Excel, ideally with experience in data analysis or pricing tools.
• Strong communication skills in German and English, both written and verbal, including in international meetings.
• Organizational skills and initiative, even with changing priorities and in international projects.
