Remote Financial Controller at Eclipse

Join the Eclipse Foundation as a Financial Controller, operating remotely while enhancing open-source innovation. This position marries strategic oversight with hands-on financial operations.

Reporting to the Vice President of Finance and Operations, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the organisation's financial health. This involves managing accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and leading a team dedicated to excellence within a multi-entity framework. Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and improve accounting operations globally

• Lead the monthly financial close with accuracy

• Prepare financial statements and reports for stakeholders

• Analyze trends and variances, communicating with leadership

• Facilitate team development through mentoring and coaching

Requirements:

• 5+ years of accounting experience with management responsibilities

• CPA designation preferred, but not required

• Experience in ERP systems like Sage Intacct

• Strong analytical and organizational skills

• Ability to navigate a global work environment
