Tax Preparation Specialist

Position: Tax Preparation Specialist Hybrid Role
Join FBC as a Tax Preparation Specialist in Kingston, ON, focusing on providing tax strategies through in-person engagements with Members. This hybrid position requires daily travel to meet clients.

As a Tax Advisor & Preparer, you will work closely with small business Members, primarily in Belleville, to minimize their tax liabilities. This role suits candidates with a strong tax background and a passion for client relationships. Your experience will enable you to connect Members with FBC’s full range of financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored tax and accounting advice to Members

• Foster long-term relationships and encourage referrals

• Identify and meet Member needs through expertise

• Keep precise records of client interactions

• Prepare complete T1 and T2 tax returns for filing

Requirements:

• At least 1 year in tax preparation or accounting

• Skilled in Taxprep and Xero software

• Knowledge of CRA tax regulations

• Experience preparing small business tax returns

• Corporate tax experience preferred
