Description
The Private Bank Service Specialist II is responsible for day‑to‑day activities and interaction between the client and Huntington Bank, including the establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing of the relationship. The role partners with one or more Wealth Advisors to support the sales process and deliver exceptional service to high‑net‑worth clients. The Specialist maintains a detailed level of knowledge of products and services to provide service excellence for our clients while identifying, assessing, and managing risk and adhering to policies and procedures.
Service coverage includes multiple practices (Private Banking, Trust, & Investment Management).
- Manage day‑to‑day activities and client interaction involving account establishment, documentation, maintenance, and servicing for personal and business deposit accounts, wealth & investment management accounts, consumer lending, and mortgages.
- Work directly with the client and/or Wealth Advisor to obtain applicant and financial information or other documentation needed for new accounts or loan and servicing requests.
- Provide detailed information on specific accounts and build rapport with customers.
- Identify, research, analyze, and resolve complex account problems.
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients on a monthly basis and participate in Calling Days.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma
- 2 years of customer service experience in banking or Wealth & Investment Financial Services experience
- Proficiency in the Microsoft suite (required when supporting a Wealth Advisor)
- Notary Public
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Excellent customer service, highly motivated, focused, and goal‑oriented
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, planning, and follow‑up
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including professional grammar and demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with strict deadlines
- Independent work capability
- Administrative experience in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of Huntington applications
