This opportunity resides with All-Domain Operations (ADO), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. ADO comprises multi-domain operations, platforms and logistics, and intelligence operations. HII designs, develops, integrates and manages sensors, systems and assets to support integrated ISR operations and accelerated decision‑making. The role focuses on preparing accurate, timely, and fully compliant invoices while maintaining the integrity of billing data and applying essential financial awareness to validate billable costs.
The ideal candidate is detail‑driven, experienced in government billing, and comfortable working with contract requirements and funding details from a remote work environment.
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking a Program Cost Control Analyst to manage all invoicing activities for a single government contract. This role requires maintaining the integrity of billing data and applying essential financial awareness to validate billable costs.
What you will do- Prepare, review, and submit invoices in accordance with contract terms, funding rules, and regulatory requirements.
- Validate labor, ODCs, indirects, and other billable elements against contract documents and task order requirements.
- Audit billing system data, correct discrepancies, and ensure Costpoint entries meet compliance standards.
- Research and resolve billing issues by coordinating with program staff, Contracts, Procurement, and Accounts Receivable.
- Maintain awareness of funding levels, contract modifications, and obligations to ensure accurate and authorized billing.
- Collect and package invoice backup and documentation to meet audit expectations.
- Prepare cancelling funds actions, final invoices, and closeout billing packages as required.
- Support internal and external audits by providing accurate billing data and documentation.
- Track invoice status, coordinate on aged receivables, and assist with cash flow efforts.
- Recommend and implement enhancements to billing workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.

- 0 years experience with Bachelor’s degree in related field, High School Diploma, or equivalent and 4 years relevant experience.
- Experience with government contract billing and accounting procedures.
- Knowledge of Costpoint or comparable billing systems.
- Strong understanding of billing rules, documentation standards, and audit expectations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and customer service skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial tools.
- Clearance:
Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. - Experience using Costpoint Billing for government contracts.
- Familiarity with federal financial and billing regulations, and travel‑related rules.
- Experience supporting financial audits.
- Advanced Excel skills.
