Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a Financial Planner based in Markham, ON. Some work-from-home flexibility is provided. The Financial Planner will be responsible for developing personalized financial plans, assisting clients with their financial goals, providing guidance on retirement planning and investment strategies, and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of financial products and regulations. Building strong client relationships and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team are key aspects of the role.

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Financial Planning and Personal Financial Planning
  • Experience as a Certified Financial Planner and familiarity with retirement planning strategies
  • Strong understanding of finance principles and financial decision-making
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build trust with clients
  • Self-motivation, organizational skills, and ability to work both independently and collaboratively
  • Relevant certifications, such as CFP (Certified Financial Planner), are highly desirable
  • Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Post-secondary education in Finance, Business, or a related field
