Corporate Development AVP

Position: Corporate Development AVP - Hybrid Role
Bring your financial expertise to CGL as the Corporate Development AVP. In this hybrid position, you will manage M&A activities and enhance portfolio strategies for a leading Canadian co-operative.

Reporting to the Vice President, you will be at the forefront of executing the mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture strategies. The AVP will prepare detailed financial models and conduct research that aligns with the corporate mission. Your leadership will be crucial in fostering a culture of performance and strategic innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage acquisition negotiations and stakeholder interests

• Analyze potential targets for strategic alignment

• Perform detailed financial modeling and risk evaluations

• Update the Board with strategic insights regularly

• Ensure comprehensive understanding of portfolio metrics

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Finance

• 10+ years in corporate development experience

• Background in venture capital or asset divestitures

• Strong Excel skills for financial modeling

• Proven M&A and joint venture expertise
