FP&A Manager – North American Food Division
Job DescriptionThe FP&A Manager is a strategic partner to the North American Food Finance business, supporting the VP in driving financial performance and enabling commercial decision‑making. The role oversees P&L structure, provides executive reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning, delivering actionable insights that influence profitability and growth. The position is headquartered in Charlotte, NC, on a hybrid schedule – Monday through Thursday onsite, with flexible remote work on Fridays.
Key Responsibilities- P&L Ownership and Analysis: Oversee and interpret the full P&L structure for the North America food packaging business, ensuring accuracy and clarity of financial results. Analyze revenue streams, cost drivers, margins, and profitability trends to identify opportunities and risks. Provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on financial performance and market dynamics.
- Financial Planning and Forecasting: Lead development of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, and long‑range financial plans. Support the VP in consolidating overall business and align commercial and operational objectives with financial targets, ensuring robust scenario planning and sensitivity analysis.
- Business Partnering: Act as a liaison between finance and business teams, fostering collaboration to understand performance drivers. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations to evaluate pricing strategies, customer profitability, and market trends, influencing decision‑making through clear communication of financial insights.
- Performance Management: Conduct variance analysis, identify root causes of deviations from targets, and use dashboards and reporting tools to monitor KPIs and support data‑driven decisions.
- Ad‑hoc Analysis and Strategic Initiatives: Lead deep‑dive analyses on sales performance, margin optimization, and customer profitability. Support strategic projects such as pricing reviews, cost‑optimization initiatives, investment evaluations, and process improvement efforts.
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve financial planning and reporting processes, implementing best practices in modeling and analysis. Establish and execute a North American food financial operating model focused on optimizing processes and enhancing performance insights.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 5‑7+ years of experience in a financial role, with FP&A experience required.
- Strong understanding of P&L structure and commercial profitability drivers.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with the ability to present financial information clearly to both finance and non‑finance stakeholders.
- Proficiency with financial reporting tools such as SAP, One Stream, and PowerBI; strong analytical and financial modeling skills; skilled in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.

Base Compensation Range: $93,100 - $160,655
This range complies with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Offers within this range will be determined by consideration of education, experience, and internal alignment. The position may also be eligible for annual performance bonuses and other incentive programs.
