Program Control Analyst
Location: Lexington Park, MD (Remote)
Responsibilities- Develop plans, including budgets and schedules, to meet contractual and program requirements for an assigned portion of a program.
- Interface with program management, responding to their requests for financial data and acting as a key expert on financial analysis issues, concerns, and special projects.
- Build, maintain, and manage forecasting models (EACs/ETCs) by gathering inputs from project managers and advising on how various operational decisions affect contract revenue, direct labor, profit, and remaining funding.
- Monitor and report performance against plans to ensure that contractual, cost, and schedule objectives are met while alerting management to significant variances.
- Prepare and deliver financial reports to the Government and/or Prime contractor while managing, maintaining, and monitoring subcontractor funding and expenditures.
- Coordinate interdepartmental development of program plans, interface with vendors or customers as required, and help resolve reporting and compliance issues.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of Program Control Analyst experience.
- Demonstrated experience conducting program plan studies, participating in establishing program plan requirements, and interpreting operating data.
- Experience building, maintaining, and analyzing financial forecasting models, budgets, and fiscal plans.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to interface effectively with program management, internal teams, and external stakeholders in a remote environment.
- Experience tracking annual fiscal plans, performing monthly updates, managing purchasing workflows, and maintaining contract accounting documentation.
- Prior experience handling financial compliance issues and interacting with governmental agencies to ensure accurate interpretations.
- Familiarity with government contracting structures, including cost accounting standards and tracking subcontractor expenditures.
- Strong analytical mindset with experience preparing specialized financial studies and reports for management review.
Must have a current and active Secret Security Clearance.
Physical Requirements- Position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time while working with computer systems and financial data.
- Occasional movement around the home office to access files, office machinery, and equipment.
- Frequent virtual communication with co‑workers, management, and customers requiring accurate information exchange.
The projected compensation range for this position is $62,400.00–$. The final salary may vary based on contract wage determination, work experience, skills, geographic location, education, and certifications, among other factors.
