Responsibilities
  • Research and Business Development – conduct continuous research and market monitoring across the global private markets landscape, engage proactively with internal and external networks to source, screen, and advance high‑quality investment opportunities, and contribute informed insights to support the development, positioning, and sustainability of a competitive and well‑diversified private markets offering for ADCB.
  • Due Diligence – conduct comprehensive quantitative and qualitative due diligence on private markets investments, assess investment merits, risks, structures, governance and operational capabilities, and present structured findings to support informed decision‑making across ADCB's investment and product approval forums.
  • Ongoing Investment Oversight – maintain ongoing oversight of approved private markets investments through structured post‑launch monitoring and periodic reviews, assess performance, risk, governance and operational effectiveness, and engage with stakeholders and managers to address issues and ensure continued alignment with ADCB standards and client interests.
  • Policies, Processes, Systems and Procedures – adhere to all relevant organisational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out to the required standard and in a consistent manner while delivering the required standard of service to customers and stakeholders.
  • People Management – manage self and team in line with ADCB's people management policies, procedures, processes and practices to ensure adherence and to maximise own and employee contribution to business performance.
  • Customer Service – demonstrate Our Promise and apply the ADCB Service Standards to deliver the Bank's required levels of service in all internal and external customer interactions.
Qualifications
  • At least 7 years of experience within a financial services firm with specific experience in originating or structuring origination and due diligence of private markets funds and transactions in developed markets.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance or economics.
  • Quantitative analytical skills.
  • Financial modelling expertise.
  • Valuation techniques knowledge.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Negotiation capabilities.
