We give you a world of potentialThe Finance function is responsible for providing treasury management services in respect of both client and own funds, financial planning & analysis, financial accounting and reporting, commercial finance and tax support to all business units and functions throughout the Computershare Group.
The Treasury function is responsible for the management of all monies for all clients held funds and the provision of all management reporting for the activities it undertakes both internally to the business and externally to Regulators and, where appropriate, other 3rd parties.
Treasury is a fast‑moving environment and is responsible for the management of all Computershare bank accounts, for handling all banking/payment related queries from both internal and external parties and for undertaking due diligence across all counter parties.
A role you will loveThe Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury function with analysing Computershare's financial activities related to cash management, liquidity management, corporate debt, foreign exchange, interest rate and payments.
You’ll provide insights to Treasury function to enhance Computershare's financial stability and growth.
Key accountabilities- Administer bank account structures that facilitates the efficient move of cash through an optimal number of banks and bank accounts. This includes (notional) cash pooling, in‑house bank, sweeps between banks.
- Implement global bank account management processes: management of bank mandates;
Know Your Customer activities; opening and closing of accounts; bank fee analysis; and administration of banking portals. - Execute regional Liquidity management processes: short‑term cash flow forecasting; determining liquidity needs; and interest collection management.
- Execute on surplus and deficit in cash positions in order to determine cash movements, investments and borrowings.
- Monitoring daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Execute confirmations: supporting routine trade/transaction instructions and valuation of financial products.
- Monitor bank fees, discussions with banks on day‑to‑day elements and supporting strategic banking relationship activities.
- Execute payment processes such as: transaction preparation; transaction initiation; payment queries; approvals; transaction flows; transaction settlements; reconciliations; stop cheques; and calculation and payment of interest earned by clients on their investments held by Computershare.
- Process regional periodic reporting of risk, cash balance, cash flow, client balance and margin income. Analysing and reporting on trends.
- Execute Treasury accounting processes for month‑end and year‑end.
- Implement regional compliance processes, both with regulatory bodies as well as with treasury policy, and regional due diligence processes in new and existing bank counter parties and perform compliance checks prior to payment release.
- Identify and make recommendation for process improvements and contribute to a range of ad hoc projects.
- Collaborate with a range of business stakeholders to identify solutions.
- Work within agreed processes and procedures adhering to CPU playbooks. Complete mandatory and regulatory training and keep abreast of the changes in the external market.

Essential- Ideally educated to degree level in Finance or Accounting.
- Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst.
- Previous experience of working in a Treasury environment and the associated regulatory landscape.
- Previously operated in analytical roles.
- Knowledge of Treasury systems and processes including automation.
- Understanding of the financial services industry.
- Experience with macros, Python, and Power BI is a plus.
