Location

Key Accountabilities- Administer bank account structures that facilitate the efficient movement of cash through an optimal number of banks and bank accounts, including cash pooling, in‑house bank, and sweeps between banks.
- Implement global bank account management processes: manage bank mandates, Know Your Customer activities, opening and closing of accounts, bank fee analysis, and banking portal administration.
- Execute regional liquidity management processes: short‑term cash flow forecasting, determining liquidity needs, and interest collection management.
- Execute surplus and deficit management in cash positions to determine cash movements, investments, and borrowings.
- Monitor daily cash positions and forecasts to ensure sufficient liquidity.
- Support routine trade/transaction instructions and valuation of financial products.
- Monitor bank fees, discuss day‑to‑day elements with banks, and support strategic banking relationship activities.
- Execute payment processes: transaction preparation, initiation, payment queries, approvals, transaction flows, settlements, reconciliations, stop cheques, and calculation and payment of interest earned by clients.
- Process regional periodic reporting of risk, cash balance, cash flow, client balance, and margin income; analyze and report on trends.
- Execute Treasury accounting processes for month‑end and year‑end.
- Implement regional compliance processes with regulatory bodies and treasury policy, perform due diligence on bank counter parties, and conduct compliance checks prior to payment release.
- Identify and recommend process improvements and contribute to ad‑hoc projects.
- Collaborate with a range of business stakeholders to identify solutions.
- Work within agreed processes and procedures, adhere to CPU playbooks, complete mandatory and regulatory training, and keep abreast of external market changes.
- Educated to degree level in Finance or Accounting.
- Certified Treasury Professional or Chartered Financial Analyst.
- Previous experience working in a Treasury environment and with the associated regulatory landscape.
- Experience in analytical roles.
- Knowledge of Treasury systems and processes, including automation.
- Understanding of the financial services industry.
- Experience with macros, Python, and Power BI.

The typical base pay range for this role is USD $50,000 – $70,000.
