Staff Accountant – Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel

Full Time. The Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills, A Four Seasons Hotel is looking for a Staff Accountant who shares a passion for excellence and who infuses enthusiasm into everything they do. This position has the opportunity to shape employee experience by providing exceptional knowledge and service in support of our world‑renowned hotels. The Staff Accountant reports to the Assistant Director of Finance.

Work authorization for the location is required.

Location

Beverly Wilshire, Beverly Hills – located at the intersection of Wilshire Boulevard and Rodeo Drive in the heart of Beverly Hills.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Assistant Director of Finance in maintaining the general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Supervise other areas within the Finance Department under the direction of the Assistant Director, including payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering in accordance with all related local and corporate polices and procedures.
  • Adapt responsibilities as required by the Accounting office structure.
  • Maintain professional relationships with all departments and the Home Office.
  • Comply with and enforce Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact.
  • Assist in maintaining the effectiveness of internal controls to safeguard the assets and resources of the hotel.
  • Support other department managers with matters related to labor standards, payroll, and other issues that may arise.
  • Direct and supervise the efforts, quality, and timeliness of payroll, accounts payable, and general cashiering or other areas as directed by the Assistant Director and Director of Finance.
  • Assist in the development of the Finance Department staff to aid the future growth of the company.
  • Help in other areas of the accounting office as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting & Finance (advantageous to have previous experience in Finance or Hotel / Resort Accounting).
  • Excellent reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.
  • Good organizational skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Availability to work weekends if needed.
  • Ability to negotiate, organize, delegate, and work under pressure.
  • Computer literacy, including MS Word, Excel, e‑mail, and Internet usage.

Salary

$77,000.00 - $82,000.00
