Position Overview
At PNC, the Loan Support Analyst Sr–Specialty supports the Agency Servicing organization in Houston, Dallas, East Brunswick, or Pittsburgh. The role requires a strong end‑to‑end understanding of commercial loan processing and the ability to identify potential risks, gaps, and control weaknesses.
Key Responsibilities- Service commercial agent loans, including paydowns, amendments, syndication activity, and reconciliations.
- Apply specialty product knowledge to close or administer high‑complexity or high‑risk syndicated and/or commercial loan transactions.
- Validate construction due diligence requirements and monitor construction progress and draw requirements.
- Review customized commercial, legal, and due‑diligence documentation to ensure compliance with complex deal structures.
- Advise customers, investors, and internal partners on transaction execution and risk mitigation.
- Escalate issues and provide thoughtful recommendations while communicating professionally with customers and internal partners.
- Assist in coaching, training, and process improvement initiatives; maintain accurate procedures and job aids.
- Contribute to organizational and cross‑functional projects that support process and system enhancements.
- University/college degree; or equivalent education and experience.
- Experience supporting Agency and Commercial Lending products, especially syndications.
- Strong knowledge of credit agreements.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, formula creation, accrual calculations).
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply credit agreements.
- Excellent analytical thinking, decision making, and critical thinking.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in risk mitigation, compliance, and regulatory requirements is preferred.
The position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations subject to approval. Work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home‑based workspace. Occasional in‑office participation may be required.
CompensationBase salary: $41,250.00 – $82,500.00; incentives based on company, business, and/or individual performance.
